If you had told me 5 years ago at varsity that I would be shooting one of my friends and fellow HK members wedding, I would have probably laughed at you! Wow- time changes so much and brings with it so many surprises and challenges?!

Elaine has always been a strong woman of character and virtue, and her faith in the Lord has always anchored her through difficult situations in life. Little did I know that in the 5 years after we left varsity, Elaine had paid numerous visits to the doctors with regard to a tumour that had been found on her brain. After some major operations and many complications she has come out the other end with a gentle but confident smile that shows just what she is made of. With so much valued support and prayers from Theuns, and her family and friends- she has managed to grow from strength to strength, and continues to trust God in the deepest darkest times.
