I love photography for what it allows me to see and for who I get to meet or catch up with. This time around I had the privilege of catching up (after what feels like a lifetime) with my wonderful friend and roommate from first year, Alexandra, and meeting her precious little family. We were able to share some sad family news and cry together, as well as laugh together too- it was wonderful!

I of course got totally trigger happy and took plenty of pics in colour- but there was something about this family in black and white that just stole my heart.
