This shoot didn’t start like most. And I am very grateful that it didn’t end like it started either!
When we arrived on location, poor little Luca mentioned his tummy wasn’t feeling well. And then shortly after… his lunch ended up on the gravel beneath his feet, and some on Inge-Maries dress too! I thought- oh dear, there goes the shoot! (And this after struggling to find a date for the shoot that wasn’t riddled with bad wind and weather.) But to my surprise and delight, this didn’t deter the Veldsmans! “Bet you’ve never started a shoot like this before?” they laughed.
The winding turns on the Garcia pass must have meddled with the lads digestive system but thankfully, what was bothering the little chap was out, and it didn’t take long before he warmed up into his cheerful self again and was helping me out as a second camera man! We not only finished the shoot with a happy Luca but also a gorgeous sunset and view!
