I did this family shoot back in November last year (yes, it is now March…that is in fact just how far behind I am with my blogging!) But I refuse to use chatGPT for writing my blogposts because well, I am an old school kinda girl (read…stubborn and useless at technology) AND I believe you gotta be real, and keep the human connect- because there is enough AI nonsense out there, without me having to add to it. Not hating on those that do use ChatGPT- just giving my disclaimer ;)

But the problem with blogging from the heart, is that it takes time – and that I have realised over the last couple of years is a very precious commodity, especially as a mom of 2 kiddos. So my evenings were spent catching up with editing for the ton of shoots I did in between- and well social media took a backseat again. (Sorry, not sorry!)

BUT how lovely to start the uploading process again with this gorgeous little family!

The Swart family in the ripe wheat field with the golden hour light breaking through the clouds had me entirely too trigger happy. And ag man- the kids were just too cute too! I am in love with Daniels’ curls and Janke’s pretty dress and leather shoes! They look like something off of Pinterest!
