Look, this family right here… they are some of my favourite people! We got to know them on Oakdale, and grew to love them there too. We would often go on afternoon walks on campus as a family, and then bump into the van Niekerks who had the same idea, and we would spend forever chatting and laughing enroute; sometimes long after the sun had set and the kids bedtimes had come and gone. To see what good friends our kids had become too was so heart-warming! Our hearts were selfishly sad when they moved off of Oakdale to a farm just outside of Riversdale- but seeing Johan in his absolute element farming; and how happy Somari and the kids were- our selfish hearts had no choice but to rejoice with them for this wonderful new season in their lives, and enjoy it with them!
